ABOUT DR. SYDNOR
Dr. Andrea Sydnor brings nearly two decades of experience in veterinary and zoological medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, completing her clinical year at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. A proud local, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Anthropology and Archaeology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Sydnor is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care—especially for our feline friends. She understands that many cats experience stress during vet visits and is pursuing her Fear Free certification to help make those visits as comfortable as possible. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
In addition, Dr. Sydnor is deeply interested in integrative veterinary medicine, including acupuncture, and she plans to pursue formal certification from the Chi Institute, with our full support.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sydnor enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her partner and stepdaughter—and their four beloved cats.
